Sigmund Saltz, President of Comiskey Research, Inc., has over thirty years of marketing and research experience. Shortly after graduating from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale in 1970, Sig joined the marketing department of Norwich-Eaton Products now a division of Procter & Gamble. While at Norwich-Eaton, he worked as an Assistant Product Manager on the company’s largest and most heavily advertised brand, Pepto-Bismol. Since Norwich-Eaton, he has held increasingly more responsible marketing positions with Armour-Swift-Eckrich, Land-O-Frost and Booth Seafood Corporation where he was Director of Marketing.
In 1989, Sig directed his attention to the marketing research industry when he joined Comiskey Research in Bensenville, Illinois. Now President of Comiskey Research he brings a combination of a classic marketing background and field data collection experience. Sig has taught marketing research at Oakton Community College, lectured on marketing research at Columbia College-Chicago and Southern Illinois University, is past president of the Chicago Chapter of the Marketing Research Association and recipient of its prestigious Chapter Service Award. He currently serves on the External Marketing Department Advisory Board (EAB) at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and is also an EAB past chairperson.
